Most organisations now have a purpose statement. Far fewer have leaders who know how to use it.
Purpose becomes meaningful only when it influences strategy, resource allocation, organisational culture and the everyday decisions that reveal what an organisation truly values.
Join Danielle Duell, Founder and CEO of People With Purpose, for a practical webinar exploring how purposeful leaders translate “why we exist” into the strategic choices, operating rhythms and cultural signals that shape an organisation.
Purpose-led enterprises require a different kind of leadership. Purposeful leaders make different trade-offs, allocate resources differently and communicate with greater clarity about what matters. They must also hold the line on purpose when short-term pressures make the easier path appear more attractive.
Drawing on real client work and the forthcoming book Purpose In Practice – a guide to purpose-led business, Danielle will introduce the elements of the Purpose In Practice Framework most relevant to executive leadership. The session will consider how purpose can be embedded across strategy, leadership, culture and operations—moving it beyond aspiration and into the way an organisation is governed and managed.
The webinar will include live audience polls, a practical case dilemma and an opportunity to examine the challenges leaders face when purpose and short-term commercial pressures conflict.
Participants will be invited to consider what makes it difficult to hold the line on purpose within their own organisations and to discuss how purposeful decision-making can be maintained under pressure.
