Purpose, Performance

and Winning in Africa

Celebrating leaders who are shaping the future of governance and business across Africa.

This event explores what it means to lead with purpose in a changing world and how values-driven leadership translates into real-world performance, influence, and impact at the highest levels of decision-making.

The event opens with a one-hour fireside chat with Ms Ipeleng Mkhari, CEO and Co-Founder of Motseng Investment Holdings, in conversation with Judith Chinkumbi. Together, they will unpack the theme “Leading with Purpose in a Changing World”, sharing insights on resilient leadership, navigating complexity, and staying anchored to purpose while driving growth and accountability.

After a short break, the programme continues with a one-hour Masterclass led by Peter Mehlape, Managing Director of Medtronic Southern Africa, drawing on lessons from his bestselling book “Winning in Africa.” This practical session will offer clear, actionable takeaways on leadership, execution, and what it takes to build winning strategies across diverse African markets.
