We are living through a period of exponential change shaped by generative AI, frontier computing, biotechnology, advanced materials, and automation. These technologies are creating profound new opportunities, but they are also increasing complexity, accelerating risk, and challenging traditional governance approaches. As Andrea Bonime-Blanc argues in Governing Pandora, there is no going back — the challenge now is learning how to govern and lead responsibly in this new landscape.
This webinar will explore the ideas at the heart of Governing Pandora: Leading in the Age of Generative AI and Exponential Technology, including the wider global context for exponential change and the practical value of an “Exponential Governance Mindset.” Designed for leaders, decision-makers, policymakers, board members, and students, the session will help participants better understand the scale of the transformation underway and how to future-proof themselves, their organisations, and the broader systems they influence.
Andrea Bonime-Blanc, JD/PhD, is Founder and CEO of GEC Risk Advisory, a board member, strategic advisor, and author. She specialises in the governance of change, with a focus on global megatrends and risk, leadership ethics and trust, geopolitical change, ESG and sustainability, and exponential technology. A former C-suite executive at four global companies, she serves on multiple boards and advisory boards and holds senior fellow roles at The Conference Board’s Governance and Sustainability Center and NYU’s Center for Global Affairs. She is also a member of the Keralty International AI Advisory Committee and the author of several books, including Governing Pandora.
Join the Good Governance Academy for a timely conversation on leadership, governance, and the practical challenges of navigating generative AI and exponential technology responsibly.
